The preschool focuses on English language development for children who speak other first languages, and partners with the Raising A Reader book-lending program.

The Asian Center is hosting a writing workshop this summer for students entering the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm in the weeks from July 10 to August 16. The fee is $ 35. per student.
The Asian Center presents the Lawrence Math and Science partnership with Merrimack College students, a program centered around Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) that enables middle school students to carry out experiments and get help with homework and projects.
The program runs on Thursday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm, beginning Thursday, September 30, 2010. To read a flier with more information, please view this attachment.

This summer, the Asian Center is offering a writing workshop for students who will be entering the 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in September. The 6-week, 12-session program will last from July 12 to August 18, 2011.
The Asian Center has published its mid-year report for the 2010 fiscal year. The 7-page report covers the activities of the Center in youth, English for speakers of other languages, and citizenship programs in recent months.

The Asian Center has released its newest annual report, covering the year from July 2008 to June 2009. The four page document highlights the events and programs of the past year and includes a letter from Executive Director Kaori Kelts. The Asian Center is now offering a specially designed class for people who conduct business with Chinese companies and need to understand Chinese.
The class meets on Monday nights from 6pm to 8pm over 8 weeks this October and November.
