The Outreach Workers assist in critical social service areas. They venture into the Asian neighborhoods, markets, churches, temples, and the area’s school systems to let people know of the services at the Asian Center. Much of their work is done through word-of-mouth and they have become trusted resources to the community. They serve as a “newspaper” of the Center’s classes and upcoming events. They also serve an important case management role helping participants with transportation, translation, and advocacy.
